Learn about the dangers of methamphetamine use
On Thursday, the Miami County Connect Kansas Coalition and the Coalition Against Substance Abuse (CASA) will hold a community town hall meeting regarding methamphetamine production and use in Miami County. The meeting will take place from 7 to 8:15 p.m. at Evergreen Events, 15 W. Wea (south side of the Square) in Paola.
The focus of the meeting will be:
Impact on individuals, families and services in our communities.
Finding solutions for combating the problem.
Meeting community leaders who are working to fight the devastation of methamphetamine production and use.
Learn what is currently being done.
Informational and resource exhibits will be featured.
The featured speaker will be Christi Cain, state coordinator of the Kansas Methamphetamine Prevention Project.
The public is invited to attend this event. No RSVP is required. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
