Couple to celebrate 50 years
Carl D. LaGalle and Bonnie Roller will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at the First Baptist Church gymnasium, 801 N. Cottonwood, Iola.
The couple were married Nov. 3, 1957, at the First Christian Church in Olathe.
Mr. LaGalle is a farmer and retired from Gates Rubber Co. in Iola. Mrs. LaGalle is a secretary at the First National Bank of Olathe and has been a bookkeeper and teller at banks in Paola and Iola. They live in Iola.
Hosts for the event are the couple's children, Leon and Diane LaGalle of Colony, and Laura and James Baker of Iola, their six grandchildren and one step-grandson.
In lieu of gifts, the family is asking guests to bring or mail to 310 N. Cottonwood, Iola, KS 66749, any golden memory of the couple to be put in a golden memory book for them.
