Seelys marry in Louisburg
Megan M. Cruzan and Nick D. Seely were married in a double-ring ceremony March 8, 2008, at the Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Louisburg.
The bride is the daughter of Punky Cruzan of Paola. She was escorted down the aisle by her grandfather, Bill Smotherman.
She wore a white satin dress with spaghetti straps adorned with sequins. She also wore cowboy boots. A tiara with a white veil that had a white ribbon edge completed her ensemble.
The Rev. Andy Keltner conducted the ceremony. Angela Tate was the soloist. Songs included “I Hope You Dance,” “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” “The Rose,” and “Grow Old With Me.”
Candles were lit by Jake Adams.
The wedding theme colors were lavender and silver. The matron of honor, Megan Taylor Seely, and bridesmaids, Kim Kempke and Randa Oliver, wore dresses of lavender and white.
Timber Allenbrand was the flower girl, and Jackson Ewalt was the ring bearer.
The groom is the son of Brad and Debra Seely of Louisburg. Cory Ewalt served as his best man and groomsmen were Jake Adams and Brent Cruzan.
A reception was held at the Paola Eagles Club. A cowprint sheet cake and a camo sheet cake were served.
The couple took a trip to Las Vegas for their honeymoon.
Mrs. Seely was a 2006 graduate of Paola High School. Mr. Seely was a 2006 graduate of Louisburg High School. He is employed by Cutting Edge in Louisburg.
