CRIMINAL COURT
HEARINGS
Andrew J. Moll was charged with minor in consumption of alcohol. A hearing is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. June 17.
A diversionary agreement was reached in the case against Timothy R. Jones. If he completes the terms of the agreement, a charge of consumption of alcohol by a minor will be dismissed.
Linda G. Blackstone was found guilty on a sale of methamphetamine charge. The court dismissed the remaining two counts. A sentencing is set for 11:30 a.m. June 19.

DISPOSITIONS
Christopher A. Johnson was found guilty of violating a protective order and was sentenced to one year in the Miami County Jail. The court dismissed the jail term and placed him on probation for one year. In another case, the court dismissed a charge of violating a protective order.
Derrick D. Roop was found guilty of obstructing official duty and was sentenced to 11 months in prison and placed on probation for one year. The court suspended the jail term and placed him on probation for one year.
Patience J. Theiss was found guilty of theft and sentenced to six months in the county jail. The court suspended the jail term and placed her on probation for 18 months. In another case, Theiss was found guilty of forgery and sentenced to 11 months in prison and a year of probation. The court suspended the jail term and placed her on probation for 18 months.
The court dismissed a case against Crystal Lee Conner to have her diversionary agreement revoked. Conner is on diversion for giving worthless checks.
The court withdrew a motion against Charles A. Atterbury to have his diversionary agreement revoked. Atterbury is on diversion for battery.
Billy A. Viner III was found guilty of theft and criminal trespass and was sentenced to five months in jail on each count to be served concurrent to each other and to other Wyandotte County charges he is currently serving jail time on.
John Edward Ellerbrook III stipulated to violating probation. He was on probation for indecent liberties with a child. The court revoked his probation and remanded him to serve the remainder of his prison sentence.
Kevin J. Meeks stipulated to violating probation. He was on probation for criminal deprivation of property. The court revoked his probation and then reinstated it for one year.
NEW CIVIL CASES
Bruce and Kynda Harshman of Paola recently filed a lawsuit against the City of Paola, asking for a judgment in the amount of $4,500 for refusing to allow a building permit for a shed.
