Accident reported
Shannon R. Thomas of La Cygne was driving a 1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse east on 399th Street, west of Jingo Road, at 11:39 a.m. March 21 when she hit a deer, according to a Miami County Sheriff’s Office report. Thomas was not injured. She was wearing a seat belt.

Robert B. Bennett of Olathe reported an act of littering at 22201 Cedar Niles Road between noon April 4 and 1 p.m. May 4.
Kevin K. Kennison of Spring Hill reported two entry doors were damaged at 21164 W. 231st Terrace between 7:35 p.m. April 28 and 11:03 p.m. April 29. The damage estimate is $1,000.
Tracy N. McCarty of Edgerton reported she was a victim of a vicious animal at 36270 W. 239th St. between 9:45 and 10:12 a.m. April 29.
Richard E. Smith of Paola reported a brass padlock and power drill set with a total value of $105 were taken from 27140 W. Kansas Highway 68 between 8 p.m. May 3 and 7:45 a.m. May 4.
Darrel W. Rodewald of La Cygne reported two glass windows were damaged at 36550 New Lancaster Road between 10 a.m. and 7:53 p.m. May 4. The damage estimate is $250.
Bradley W. Benton of Louisburg reported two saddles, three house keys, a car key, three credit cards and a wallet with a total value of $809 were taken from 10634 W. 359th St. between 11 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. May 4.
Richard D. Downes of Shawnee reported three tires with a total value of $300 were taken from 26475 W. 319th St. between 4:16 and 5:12 p.m. May 5.

Chris L. Laughlin, 31, was booked into the Miami County Jail on April 29 for allegedly possessing opiates, opium or narcotic drugs.
Andrew R. Stainbrook, 36, was booked into jail May 1 for allegedly possessing controlled substances.
Troy D. Johns, 29, was booked into jail May 1 for allegedly transporting an open container and possessing depressants or stimulants.
William D. Pottorff, 56, was booked into jail May 3 for allegedly possessing depressants or stimulants, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and criminal use of weapons.
Reed J. Mayes, 20, was booked into jail May 3 for allegedly transporting an open container and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Steven C. Chrisman, 24, was booked into jail May 4 for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Natasha A. Otto, 25, was booked into jail May 4 for allegedly failing to appear in court.
Aaron M. Foxworth, 26, was booked into jail May 4 for allegedly driving while his license was cancelled.
Ray Z. Nash, 28, was booked into jail May 5 for allegedly criminally damaging property.
