Designed 2 Win, designed for you

When Roger Ramsey moved to Kearney 11 years ago from Liberty he wanted a community that he and his could get involved in. Now, with a thriving new business and two kids; Ashley, 15, and Austin, 13, he has just what he wanted.
Although busy with several orders, Ramsey was able to answer a few questions about his shop.
Q: Why did you decide to open Designed 2 Win?
A: We we’re doing this out of our home for six years and about a year ago my wife, Ann, and I started thinking about a store. What we were hoping to do was broaden our selection.
Q: What type of services do you offer?
A: Everything. We do it all; embroidery, trophy engraving, team spirit wear, team uniforms and apparel, a wide selection of kid’s clothes, corporate logos and ad specialty items. And that’s just the start; we’re hoping to add letter jackets and other products to meet our customer’s needs.
Q: What makes your business different?
A: The main thing that makes us different is that we can do digital direct to garment printing, which means that we can take a photo or image and print it directly on the product using our T-Jet Laser Pro printer. It’s like a computer laser printer only a lot bigger and it’s something that you’re not going to find just anywhere. We also provide trophy engraving. We’ll have custom rhinestone transfers and be able to make our own templates instead of having to order them.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your business?
A: Seeing my stuff out there. My son recently played in a baseball tournament and out of five fields four of them were wearing my uniforms. It’s a really satisfying feeling to be able to provide a quality product at a fair price.
Q: Aren’t all uniforms the same?
A: No. What sets us apart is our quality. I do it all myself. When it leaves here, I know it’s the best because it’s been through my hands and not just someone I have working for me. This isn’t just a job for me; my kids are out there on the fields, too. I want to help people, if that means working late or opening up at a special time to accommodate everyone’s needs than I am happy to do it.
