Eugene E. Sumter, 82, formerly of Liberty and Richmond died May 9, 2008, at Maywood Terrace Living Center in Independence where he had resided for the past year. Burial was at the Wellington City Cemetery in Wellington. In lieu of flowers, you may honor him with a memorial contribution for the activities department of the Alzheimer’s unit at Maywood Terrace Living Center.
