A testimony of the results of one bad choice
Six years after Paul Davis made a choice that changed his life forever, he’s preparing to speak in Paola to plead others to not make the same mistake.
Davis spent time behind bars following a drinking-and-driving wreck that killed friend Jason Grandon in 2002. He plans to speak about his decision to drink and drive from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Paola Community Center, 905 E. Wea St.
Davis has been a strong proponent of Heads Up, a brain-injury support group based in Paola, and this will not be the first time he has preached the dangers of drinking and driving to the community.
The event is free, and all community members are invited to attend.
