Tylor Blann placed third in the 100-meter hurdles for the Paola Middle School eighth-grade girls in the Frontier League meet at Gardner-Edgerton High School on May 3.

Blann ran a time of 18.97 seconds for third place.

Paola placed 11th in the league standings with 11 points.

Sam Prothe placed fourth in the 1,600-meter run.

Jendra Teuscher was sixth in the 800-meter run.

Cheyenne Rankin placed sixth in the 400-meter dash.

The Panthers were sixth in the 4x200-meter relay and sixth in the 4x400-meter relay.

The seventh-grade girls placed second in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:54.93. Paola placed eighth in the team standings with 37.33 points.

Morgan Gilliland placed third in the discus.

Lucy Staats placed fourth in the shot put.

Elizabeth Edwards and Abby Lopez each placed in two events.

Edwards was third in the long jump and fifth in the 100-meter dash.

Lopez was sixth in the 100-meter hurdles and the 200-meter dash.

Paola was fifth in the 4x200-meter relay.
