Noble shoots 41 to win Osawatomie JV golf tourney
Paola High School freshman Jared Noble shot a 41 to win the Osawatomie Junior Varsity Golf Invitational on April 30.
Noble won the title by one stroke, holding off Sean Lebonte of Gardner-Edgerton, Brad Castle and Ryan Mendon from Louisburg.
Louisburg shot a 176 to win the team title. Paola was five strokes back for second place with a 181.
Spring Hill placed sixth with a score of 219.
Mike Prothe shot a 45 to place seventh for the Panthers. Mitch Gabbert was eighth with a 46. Andrew Thompson placed 14th with a 49. Mark Walls and Brogan McWilliams placed 15th and 16th with scores of 50.
Jesse Sloan led Spring Hill with a 52, placing 21st.
Justin Allen placed 25th with a 54. Bobby Sturm was 28th with a 56.
Hunter Lloyd shot a 57 for 31st place. Ethan Smith shot a 60, placing 36th.
