Donnajean Colson

Donnajean Arington Colson, 71, formerly of Olathe, died May 12, 2008, in Bella Vista, Ark.

She was born Oct. 3, 1936, in Grandview, Mo., to George and Rose Arington.

She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Alfred Arington.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ted Colson of Bella Vista; her children, Jim Colson of Grayslake, Ill., Connie Colson of Holton, Kan., Carolyn Milliron of Bella Vista, and Rodney Colson of Ft. Smith, Ark; her mother, Rose Arington of Olathe; her brother, Wes Arington of Springfild, Mo., and two grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Blackbob Rd., Olathe, where the family will receive friends an hour prior to service. Interment, Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
