INJURY ACCIDENTS Kristina G. Wade, 15, Spring Hill, was driving a 1994 Ford Ranger west on 223rd Street east of Yankee Bit Road at 3:31 p.m. May 5 when she lost control of the vehicle, which veered into the south ditch, hit an embankment and a culvert and overturned, according to a Miami County Sheriff’s Office report. Wade suffered a non-disabling injury and was taken by ambulance to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Her passenger, Spencer Booten, 14, Olathe, also was injured and was taken by air ambulance to Children’s Mercy Hospital. Both were wearing seat belts.
