Lakeview Village

has new CEO

Ronald Bergstrom of Dallas, Texas, has been tapped as the CEO of Lakeview Village, Lenexa.

Bergstrom replaces retiring CEO Richard Catlett.

“We are very pleased,” board chair David Caffrey said. “Ron has guided many of the same accomplishments that Lakeview has recently achieved. This puts him in a position to guide Lakeview’s next phase of development, in which we plan to continue our leadership in senior services and expand our scale to welcome the boomer generation.”

Bergstrom has 23 years of experience in senior services.




Remodel complete

S.M. Wilson & Co. recently completed a $1.3 million renovation of existing retail space for Sports Authority, 12010 W. 95th St., Lenexa.

This is Sports Authority’s first Kansas City-area store.

The 40,000-square-foot project, originally occupied by Builders Square, included interior demolition and renovation as well as a new façade entrance.

Outlet store opens

Vita Craft Factory Outlet Plus has opened at 11100 W. 58th St., Shawnee. The store sells overstock, discontinued and slightly blemished cookware at “a drastically reduced price,” said owner Mamoru Imura. Call 631-6265.
