Concepts revealed for Highway 92’s future
City and state officials are already in the process of figuring out how road and infrastructure construction might play out west of Interstate 35 over the next 20 years.
Representatives from the city of Kearney and the Missouri Department of Transportation were scheduled for a meeting this week to discuss how to proceed with plans for the Missouri Highway 92 corridor running west from the interstate.

Worlds of Fun is celebrating its 35th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the Northland amusement park is planning a season full of special events, new food options, games, concerts and midway renovations, according to Vice President and General Manager Frank Wilburn.

Members of the Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Association had no choice but to take notice of Kearney High’s recent success, and the organization extended all-star invitations to three Bulldogs. Seniors Beau Brinkley, John Hinchey and Matt Massey have been offered roster spots in the annual Metro Classic senior all-star game, scheduled for Thursday, June 19, at Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kan.
