Raymond Joseph Finland, 85, Pleasanton, died Tuesday, May 14, 2008, at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott. A native of Dixon, Ill., he worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb prior to retiring. Survivors include his wife, Peg Finland of the home, and one daughter, Patty Finland of Chicago. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home in Pleasanton. Visitation will be from 3 until 4 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Fort Scott. Linda Sue Senkevech, 60, La Cygne, died Monday, May 12, 2008, at Olathe Medical Center. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Dawn and Dave Helmert of La Cygne; a son, Wayne Hester of Drexel; a daughter, Sue Wheeler of Hiatville, Kan.; a brother, Jimmey Murr of Olathe; four sisters, Sandra Reynolds of Washington, Jennie Pearce of Lane, Karen Morris of Olathe and Terri Smith of Overland Park; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Cremation. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Calvary Baptist Church of La Cygne. Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church for Linn County Concern.
