Former Clay County Sheriff Jack Corum died Friday, Jan. 6, at Liberty Hospital from heart failure. He was elected in 1976 and served as sheriff for 16 years.Visitation was at Church Archer Pasley Funeral Home in downtown Liberty on Monday, Jan. 9. The funeral was Tuesday, Jan. 10, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 3106 Flora Avenue in Kansas City.
