Former Clay County Sheriff Jack Corum died Friday, Jan. 6, at Liberty Hospital from heart failure. He was elected in 1976 and served as sheriff for 16 years.Visitation was at Church Archer Pasley Funeral Home in downtown Liberty on Monday, Jan. 9. The funeral was Tuesday, Jan. 10, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 3106 Flora Avenue in Kansas City.


WYLIE A BROOKS, JR. 1926-2011 Wylie A. Brooks, Jr., 85, of Mission, Kan., passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011. He is survived by special friend Lee Naiman; two Pekinese dogs, Jake and Abegail; nieces and nephews and many friends. Mary Madeline (Enslow) Miller, 72, of Gower, MO, formerly of Edgerton, Smithville, and Nashua passed away Friday, November 18, 2011. Survived by daughter, Kathy (Dwayne) Burt, Gower, MO; grandchildren, John, Misty and Tasha; five great-grandchildren; sister Lawanna Sutton; brother, Jerry (Ann) Enslow. Frances Thompson Dillingham, 102, passed away peacefully of natural causes at home on Saturday, November 5, 2011. She was born July 17, 1909, at Maple Grove Stuck Farm in the home built in 1876

Richard Henry Miller, 87, Gladstone, MO passed away Monday, October 10, 2011.
