The end of semester exhibition and sale of artwork made by students at the Kansas City Art Institute, 4415 Warwick Blvd., kicks off May 6. Selections will be on display throughout the campus, representing the departments of ceramics, digital filmmaking, fiber, graphic design, illustration, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. Heartland Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers ages 18 and older who can assist with the disassembly and moving of a large number of items that have been donated to the organization by Halls Crown Center and will be sold at area Habitat ReStore retail outlets in Kansas and Missouri.
